Terms of service

The Service is operated by Stigmi (“we”, “us”) for hosts organizing private events such as weddings and celebrations. Stigmi provides browser-based guest photo uploads, live gallery views, and host tools linked to each event.

Hosts must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where they live) and able to enter a binding agreement.

Host sign-in and account security may be provided through Clerk or comparable authentication. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.

You may only upload or invite others to upload content that you have the right to share for the event. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, harassing, or sexually exploitative material.

Do not attempt to disrupt the Service, probe or bypass security, scrape or overload infrastructure, or misuse QR codes, links, or APIs.

Guest uploads are intended for invited participants. Hosts should share upload links and QR codes in ways that match how they run their event.

Hosts choose how broadly event links and QR codes are distributed. You are responsible for directing guests appropriately and for moderation choices available in the product.

Photos may depict adults and children at private events. You confirm that sharing within your event context complies with your obligations toward guests and subjects.

Stigmi retains all rights in the software, branding, and documentation. Subject to these terms, hosts and guests retain rights in media they upload; you grant us the license reasonably needed to host, process, transmit, and display that content to operate the Service.

Paid features are described on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe or another checkout provider we designate. Prices, taxes, and currency are shown before you confirm payment.

Unless stated otherwise or required by law, fees are non-refundable once the Service has been substantially delivered for the purchased event window.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You use guest-generated content at your own discretion. We do not endorse uploads from guests.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stigmi and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our aggregate liability arising out of these terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Stigmi for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty euros (€50), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created risk or legal exposure, or must comply with law or a court order. You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
